Responsibilities
Data analysis and interpretation to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and inform strategic decision-making
Design, develop, and train machine learning models using supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, and reinforcement learning techniques
Develop and implement agentic workflows utilizing AI agents for autonomous task execution
Employ retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns to enhance language model performance
Fine-tune pre-trained models for specific tasks or datasets
Data cleaning and preprocessing, including handling missing values and outliers
Deploy AI models into production environments and monitor performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions
Stay current with advancements in AI and machine learning
Create documentation and communicate results to non-technical stakeholders
Mentor and provide guidance to newer data scientists
Partner with business and technology teams to build ML models improving Star ratings, reducing care gaps, and achieving business objectives
Present complex analytical information clearly to all levels of audiences
Assign and manage analytical project delivery as appropriate
Perform other duties as business requirements change and identify data and technology-enabled solution opportunities
Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from industry or sector trends
Qualification
Required
6+ years of work experience as a data scientist (healthcare required)
Must have Agentic AI experience
Must have Cloud experience
Must have AI Engineering and Integration experience
Ph D is preferred, but not required
Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
Familiarity with relational database concepts and SDLC
Strong critical thinking and ability to structure unstructured problems
Strong programming skills in Python and R
Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
Strong understanding of statistical methods and ML algorithms (k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, neural networks)
Experience with Agentic Workflows
Knowledge of RAG techniques
Experience in model fine-tuning
Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and ETL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure AI Studio, etc.)
Familiarity with NLP and computer vision techniques
