Responsibilities

Administer and support SCCM/MECM for endpoint management, including collections, deployments, reporting, and client health monitoring
Troubleshoot SCCM client issues, content distribution problems, boundary/boundary group issues, and deployment failures
Manage software distribution, OS deployment support (task sequences), and imaging-related issues (as applicable)
Monitor site health and remediate issues related to DP/MP/SUP, replication, and client communication
Execute and monitor Windows patching through SCCM (and/or Intune Windows Update for Business where applicable)
Troubleshoot patch compliance issues and work with stakeholders on maintenance windows and patch schedules
Maintain patch deployment rings, ADRs (Automatic Deployment Rules), and reporting
Support Microsoft Intune policies, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and endpoint security profiles
Assist with app deployment via Intune (Win32 apps, Microsoft Store apps, M365 apps)
Support device enrollment and provisioning processes (Autopilot knowledge is a plus)
Troubleshoot Intune deployment, sync, compliance, and device management issues
Support SCCM + Intune Co-management configurations and workload transitions
Support Windows device management across hybrid environments
Provide compliance, patching, and deployment reports using SCCM/Intune dashboards and reporting tools
Maintain operational documentation (SOPs, KB articles) and contribute to process improvements
Handle L2 incident tickets, service requests, and escalations within SLA
Collaborate with Security, AD/Azure AD, Network, and Service Desk teams

Required

Strong hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM administration and troubleshooting
Experience with patch management using SCCM (ADR, WSUS/SUP concepts)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune (policies, compliance, deployments)
Strong troubleshooting skills for endpoint issues (client health, deployments, patching failures)
Knowledge of Windows OS fundamentals (Windows 10/11, basic registry/log analysis)
Understanding of enterprise concepts: GPO, Active Directory, Azure AD basics
Good communication skills and ability to document technical work clearly

Preferred

Co-management (SCCM + Intune) experience
Windows Autopilot knowledge
Endpoint security experience (Defender, BitLocker policies, endpoint security baselines)
PowerShell scripting (automation of reporting, health checks, deployments)
Certificate management basics for device enrollment/HTTPS communication
Knowledge of CMG (Cloud Management Gateway) is a plus
