Talent Acquisition Lead
Northwestern Mutual is seeking a coachable, team-oriented individual to join their Talent Acquisition team. The role focuses on identifying and attracting qualified candidates for College Financial Representative and Financial Representative positions while building relationships and promoting the company’s career opportunities.

Responsibilities
Build and develop effective referral sources: In-office, On Campus and Community Centers of Influence
Actively participate in campus & community clubs and organizations to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual
Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies on campus & in the community including the career services website, online job postings and advertising to include ads, direct mail, community events, etc
Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual talent acquisition professionals to share leads and best practices
Prepare and maintain recruiting and marketing materials
Be knowledgeable on information and language regarding all aspects of the financial representative career and each step of the selection process
Specific selection process accountability to include but not limited to screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, administering selection tools and guiding candidates through the selection process
Review resumes, schedule initial interviews and coordinate continued interview steps
Maintain integrity and consistency of the selection process
Effectively communicate with candidates
Manage the transition of candidates offered a contract, including supporting any pre-contract tasks to be completed by the candidate while onboarding
Report weekly recruiting activity to leadership team
Develop proficiency and use of home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports
Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in selection process; establish and implement improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Recent Graduate to three years professional work experience ideal
Strong personal network and/or community involvement
Ability to work in a highly collaborative and interdependent team setting
Disciplined, ambitious, and motivated by results
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Thrive in a deadline driven environment where results are rewarded
Resilient, responsible, and resourceful
Energized by meeting new people and building strong relationships
