Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering technical support to PMA-261’s CH-53K Capabilities Integration Team
Provide the technical research and analysis of emerging technologies at lower Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) to create advanced capabilities development roadmaps that can be presented to a CH-53K Engineering Review Board
Approximately 75% of this effort will be the pre-work required to neck down various emerging technologies to identify material/non-material solutions to fill identified gaps
Provide recommendations for the most impactful maturing technologies that bring increased capabilities to be included into bi-annual CH-53K Block upgrades
Perform analysis of a technology’s TRLs maturation timeline, review Initial Capabilities Documents (ICDs) and SWAP requirements
Approximately 25% of effort will be post-award work to perform the System-of-Systems integration of various technologies and horizontal integration across Level II IPTs
Performs programmatic or technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems; guiding the engineering development of modern complex systems; and employing systems engineering methods and tools in the development of systems
Coordinating engineering change proposals (ECPs), technical directives, and updates

Required

Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required
Bachelor's degree in technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university
Five (5) years of recent and relevant experience
Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills
Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to work independently
Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
Detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
Ability to adapt to evolving technology
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation
This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance
