Ithaca College is seeking a Student-Fishel Research Assistant for a Spring 2026 physical therapy research project. The role involves providing administrative and research support, including participant recruitment, data organization, and scheduling interviews.

Responsibilities

Assisting with recruitment efforts for study participants using approved communication methods

Supporting survey administration, including tracking completion and responding to participant questions within defined guidelines

Managing and organizing project-related data using secure and accurate data practices

Maintaining spreadsheets and documentation for participant tracking and issuing compensation

Scheduling and coordinating interviews, including confirming availability and sending reminders

Communicating professionally with participants and campus partners as needed

Identifying issues or inconsistencies in tracking systems and notifying the supervisor promptly

Supporting time-sensitive project tasks and meeting established deadlines

Required

Graduate student (physical therapy or related field preferred)

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)

Preferred

Prior experience in research support, administrative work, or clinical/healthcare-related environments

Familiarity with Qualtrics

Experience handling sensitive or confidential information

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training

Demonstrated leadership experience or comfort coordinating tasks
