Responsibilities

Mid-level role with responsibilities for design, development, and analysis of electronic systems for utility room products
Performs engineering design evaluations
Processes Engineering Change Request
Maintains and updates firmware for the products
Recommends and performs alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures
Create and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures
Conduct testing and validation of new and existing designs and analyze post-test data
Create design documentation, including drawing, specifications, layouts, test reports and diagrams
Able to work independently according to project requirements and take responsibility for projects and results

Required

3-5 years of experience in analog/digital circuit design and microcontroller programming
Experience with embedded firmware in C, C++ as well as object-oriented programming
Experience with PCB design software (Pulsonix, Orcad or similar)
BS or BE in Electrical Engineering or highly related field
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
A collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork
Effective communication skills
Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities

Preferred

Experience designing regulated products (UL, CE/ISO, FDA) desirable
Experience in EMI/EMC PCB design and testing desirable
