Field Service Coordinator

Responsibilities
Provide Remote/Local technical support to customers, contractors and technicians to resolve the incidents of the portfolio of equipment provided by ABB (PV Inverters, BESS – Battery Energy Storage Systems, PCS – Power Conversion Systems Equipment, Medium Voltage Cell, Medium Voltage Transformers, Auxiliary panels, cooling equipment, communications)
Coordination with contractors and technicians
Maintain daily communication with technicians to resolve any issues, and coordination with contractors and technicians
Plan, direct and manage the scheduling of the Service Technician activities from assignment to assignment. Ensure that jobs are staffed appropriately and that the technicians understand length of assignment and responsibility of the job. Complete and maintain required and accurate documentation and records associated with the performed activities
Make sure that Technicians have needed tools and supplies to perform jobs
Coordinate and ensure that the technicians receive the proper training and equipment needed for assignments. Manage inventory of supplies, including purchasing of tools, equipment and PPE
Maintain constant communication with customers to ensure that jobs completed by Technicians are done satisfactorily to customers' needs. Address and resolve any issues or concerns with employees and customer
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma and 5+ years' experience in the Maintenance Service sector, including Renewable Energy Projects or other energy related operations and maintenance industries preferred
In depth Knowledge of communication networks, cooling systems, power electronics, interpretation of electrical diagrams, MV equipment, electrical switchgear. Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures and regulations
Must possess knowledge of EH&S regulations required for Technicians to work on solar farms
Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, and must be able to travel and work independently
