Responsibilities
Assists the Project Manager with the pre-construction process, project budgets, reviewing required work with subcontractors, and preplanning operational activities
Assists the Project Manager by reviewing scopes of work
Assists the Project Manager in building and maintaining strong relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Project Team, and Subcontractors
Communicates regularly with all involved parties regarding project plans, status of the project, upcoming activities, and open issues
Assists the Project Manager with setting up initial budgets by tabulating each required scope of work and inputting into required project management and accounting systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
One (1) + years construction experience required
Ability to adhere to quality standards within company requirements & industry codes and standards to include but not limited to ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, ASTM, NFPA, NACE, IBC & NEC
Knowledge of Energy Services Construction
Knowledge and familiarity with architectural drawings
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time/workload
Ability to communicate safety plans as needed
Ability to resolve any safety related conflicts with the customer and inside Veregy
Ability to communicate safety related issues to Veregy Management
Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and staff
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priorities with end users
Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed
