*In-Person* Network Administrator II

The Network Administrator II will support and maintain the core voice and data network infrastructure, ensuring overall network availability and meeting the communication technology needs of the company.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Take a lead role in the development of network design and architecture to meet the credit union’s security, redundancy, scalability, and performance goals
Perform policy configuration and maintenance on company firewall and VPN devices
Monitor production voice and data network services
Proactively monitor storage and make necessary solutions
Maintain patch management and software/firmware upgrade procedures for critical network infrastructure
Implement network capabilities that support enterprise disaster recovery processes and business continuity plans
Develop and support service level agreements, network service availability metrics, and management reports
Engage vendors and third-parties to resolve issues and analyze design options
Participate in enterprise projects and to ensure the alignment between business and IT goals
Propose and implement technology focused projects that improve IT security, capabilities, and services
Develop, update, and implement IT policies and procedures
Perform other duties as directed by leadership
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
4 years of network administration or engineering experience
Broad knowledge of network design and troubleshooting concepts, including an in-depth knowledge of Cisco networking technologies
In-depth knowledge of network firewall administration
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory configuration
Preferred
7 years of network administration or engineering experience
Proven experience developing and maintaining network security protocols and policies
