Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 10+ accounting professionals across multiple functional areas
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Maintain and enhance core accounting processes, policies, and internal controls
Analyze large volumes of transactional data to ensure proper financial treatment and reporting
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting and reporting standards
Manage multi-state sales & use tax filings, ERP system tax configurations, and support tax technology improvements
Coordinate audit activities and oversight of financial compliance requirements
Partner cross-functionally with operational, branch, and corporate teams to support process improvements and financial transparency
Contribute to ongoing automation efforts, system upgrades, and ERP enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
7-10 years of progressive corporate accounting experience, including team leadership and supervisory responsibility
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros)
Experience with mid-market ERP systems such as NetSuite, Great Plains, or similar platforms
Strong hands-on accounting capability and technical fundamentals
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across departments and leadership levels
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with automation initiatives or ERP upgrades/implementations preferred
