Electrical Engineer
Eaton's Electrical Sector America is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support their Power Distribution & Controls Assemblies division. The successful candidate will design, develop, and test electrical systems and components while collaborating with cross-functional teams and directly interacting with customers.

Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications
Collaborate with other engineers and departments to integrate electrical systems into larger projects
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems
Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, bill of materials and reports
Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate them into designs
Review and analyze product configurations and components, design circuits, perform engineering calculations, and provide input to other departments including drafting, purchasing, and manufacturing personnel
Provide engineering functions in support of product marketing, manufacturing, and sales in line with company and product line objectives
Participate in customer project review/drawing approval meetings
Perform other related activities and special projects as assigned
All employees are expected to comply with the environment, health, and safety guidelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Engineering/Technical field of study from an accredited institution
Familiarity in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB)
No relocation is being offered for this role. Only candidates currently residing TODAY within a 50-mile radius of Eaton's Omaha Nebraska facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years' experience in electrical manufacturing and/or design
Experience with power systems and power distribution
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEEE, NEC)
