Responsibilities
Work directly with experienced engineers to design, test, document, and validate new components and products
Build, document, and validate the electro-mechanical performance of motors, gearmotors, blowers, drives, software, circuitry, and other products
Conduct tests, analyze data, and provide formal report-outs on findings and recommendations
Create and support the development of technical documentation
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in a relevant Engineering degree program at an accredited university; Mechanical Engineering majors would be a good fit, but similar majors are considered
Sophomore or higher-level standing
3.0 GPA or higher
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail to effectively communicate with others is highly beneficial
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to read assembly prints for assembly/disassembly of motors and gearmotors given training and supervision
Preferred
Knowledge or interest in embedded systems programming or PCB design is a plus
Ability to set up and tear down mechanical or electrical test equipment
Ability to work in a laboratory environment
