Senior CNC Machinist (Setup & Programmer) – 4×10 Schedule | 1st or 2nd Shift | $2,000 Sign-On Bonus

The Machinist will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC machining equipment to perform close tolerance machining operations and ensure efficient production processes.

Responsibilities
Proficient at setup on 3 + Axis CNC vertical machining center, Fanuc controls a plus
Proficient at set up on multi Axis CNC turning centers, Okuma controls a plus
Receive and review work assignments; verify that work pieces and routing match regarding count, type and proper sequence
Follow established procedures for machine set up, including bushings, collets and programs to be use; input tool and set up values; inspect, adjust, and debur as needed
Mount and secure tools in machine
Run equipment in the most efficient manner, continually inspecting finished pieces for correct dimensions. This includes work handling equipment
Set up and/or operate more than one machine whenever possible and when management determines that order size and cycle times are appropriate
Enter all production information into the data collection system
Monitor equipment performance; report problems and request required maintenance to avoid unnecessary downtime and machine damage or repairs
Perform documentation procedures on all jobs as needed
Perform all other duties as assigned
Responsible for keeping area clean at all times
Qualification
Required

CNC Certificate with emphasis in machine tool operation (is a plus)
This position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
