Responsibilities
Define and execute the company-wide AI strategy aligned with long-term business goals
Build and lead a world-class AI organisation encompassing ML engineering, data science, MLOps, and AI research
Identify new product opportunities through machine learning, generative AI, and automation
Oversee development of AI models powering fraud detection, credit scoring, personal finance insights, payments optimisation, LLM-powered support, and more
Drive innovation in generative AI, including retrieval-augmented models, agent workflows, and fine-tuned domain-specific LLMs
Ensure all AI systems meet stringent regulatory, ethical, and security standards appropriate for global financial markets
Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams to embed AI into the company’s core platforms and customer experiences
Champion responsible AI and model governance across all business units
Communicate AI strategy, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership, board members, and global stakeholders
Qualification
Required
8–12+ years of experience in AI/ML leadership roles, including managing multi‑disciplinary teams
Proven experience deploying complex AI systems in production at scale
Expertise in deep learning, generative AI, NLP/LLMs, and ML infrastructure
Strong understanding of financial services, payments, credit, or risk modelling
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive organisational change
Preferred
Experience in a global FinTech, bank, or regulated financial institution
Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native ML stacks (AWS/GCP/Azure), distributed training
