Talent Bridge is seeking a Trading Manager responsible for leading commercial activities for defined product lines. This role involves managing sales and purchase contracts, driving profitable sales growth, and ensuring smooth trade execution to support strategic growth objectives.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Negotiate and execute sales and purchase contracts across assigned product lines
Collaborate with Operations, Chartering, Legal, Finance, and Strategy teams
Support import/export entities in implementing strategies and optimizing international seaborne flows
Manage the portfolio of existing customers and suppliers while prospecting new opportunities
Monitor and manage trading risks within assigned geography and authority
Ensure compliance with internal rules, processes, regulations, and standards
Provide business intelligence and market insights to support strategic decisions
Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in trading or related commercial activities
Knowledge of the building materials industry, commodity trading, and shipping (dry bulk or containerized)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and teams
Diplomatic and politically savvy
Fluency in English (written and spoken) and at least one additional major international language (e.g., Spanish, French, Arabic)
