Senior LevelBrooksource is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform / Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and support a secure and scalable Azure cloud platform for critical public-facing systems. The role involves hands-on responsibilities in cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and deployment pipelines, ensuring applications run on a solid and compliant foundation.

Responsibilities
Design and implement Azure infrastructure to support modern, API-driven applications
Support multiple environments (dev, test, pre-prod, prod)
Ensure infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient
Follow enterprise cloud standards and shared platform patterns
Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep / ARM or similar)
Create reusable, version-controlled, and environment-aware templates
Improve shared IaC modules so teams can deploy consistently
Design and manage Azure networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints)
Implement secure connectivity for internal and external integrations
Apply Azure security best practices (managed identities, RBAC, Key Vault)
Support compliance and access-control requirements
Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
Enable automated, repeatable releases across environments
Integrate validation and security checks into deployment workflows
Partner with development teams to improve release processes
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues
Work closely with application and QA teams to support testing and releases
Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational best practices
Support incident response and recovery when needed
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or similar)
Solid understanding of Azure networking and security
Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Azure DevOps
Comfortable working in Agile or iterative environments
Preferred
Experience supporting API-driven or microservices platforms
Background in regulated or compliance-heavy environments
Familiarity with Azure monitoring and logging tools
Experience supporting shared platforms or internal developer teams
