Administrative Support Specialist - Division of Labor Relations
The New York State Unified Court System is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist for the Division of Labor Relations. This role provides high-level administrative, operational, and clerical support, managing office operations and maintaining confidential labor relations records.

Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Division of Labor Relations to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with Division procedures
Coordinate office logistics, including calendars, scheduling, supplies, and equipment
Provide administrative support to the Director of Labor Relations and labor relations staff, including calendar management, scheduling, and correspondence
Draft, edit, proofread, format correspondence, reports, presentations, and official documents related to labor relations matters
Track deadlines and key milestones related to grievances, arbitrations, negotiations, and administrative hearings before the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB)
Assist in the preparation and distribution of materials for negotiations, labor/management meetings, and other matters
Maintain accurate, organized, and secure labor relations files, including grievance records and collective bargaining agreements
Respond professionally to inquiries from supervisors, managers and union representatives, while maintaining confidentiality and neutrality
Route inquiries and documents appropriately and follow up as needed to ensure timely resolution
Serve as a professional and impartial representative of the Labor Relations Office
Qualification
Required
One year in the Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office systems
Maintain strict confidentiality
Exercise sound judgment
Work professionally and neutrally with management and union representatives
Preferred
Experience in a unionized public agency or supporting executive-level labor relations functions
