Customer Service Representative
SMR is the largest privately held recycling and organics provider in the U.S., dedicated to minimizing the cost and environmental impact of landfills. They are seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing excellent service across various channels.

Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media in a professional and timely manner
Maintain a strong knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures
Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and a positive experience
Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude while working with customers
Meet performance targets such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred)
Previous customer service experience (preferred but not required)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
Adaptability in a changing environment
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
A team player with a willingness to learn and grow within the company
Preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
