Pharmacy Social Media Assistant (Student Position)

Ferris State University is seeking a Pharmacy Social Media Assistant to support the development and execution of social media content. This position will work closely with the marketing/communications team to create engaging content that aligns with organizational goals while gaining hands-on experience in social media strategy and analytics.

Assist with creating, editing, and scheduling social media content (posts, stories, reels, videos, captions)
Monitor social media platforms and engage with followers as directed (likes, comments, messages)
Research trends, hashtags, and platform features to inform content strategy
Support content planning through brainstorming sessions and content calendars
Assist with photo and video capture at events, meetings, or campus activities (as applicable)
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and accessibility best practices

Required

Strong written communication skills with attention to tone, grammar, and audience

Experience with or interest in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut)
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
