Responsibilities

Provides expert-level technical assistance in preparation and support of end-user hardware and applications
Receives escalated support issues from an internal Service Desk
Independently performs a wide variety of desktop-related tasks and serves as a subject-matter expert resolving end-user issues

5+ Years in desktop support, service desk, help desk (etc.)
Windows 10/11
Microsoft Office

Virtualization - Omnissa Horizon, VMware Workstation, Microsoft Hyper-V, or similar
History of work in Wisconsin for WI based clients
End-user technical support of Windows environments (5+ years)
Technical support of Windows 10 or Windows 11 (5+ years)
Installation and support of Microsoft Office Suite (5+ years)
Extensive knowledge with desktop technology (5+ years)
Deployment and technical support of x86/x64 computers (5+ years)
Desktop software installation, support, and troubleshooting (5+ years)
Use of remote desktop / remote control tools (2+ years)
Use of Microsoft Remote Server Administration Tools (2+ years)
Use of Microsoft MECM / SCCM for software deployment, remote control, and Windows updates (1+ year)
Support of iOS or Android mobile devices using enterprise MDM solutions (1+ year)
Support of Omnissa Horizon, VMware Workstation, Microsoft Hyper-V, or similar virtualization tools (1+ year)
Experience with technical writing and documentation (1+ year)
Home internet: minimum 20 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up
Ability to connect via wired network (Cat 5a or better)
Full audio/video conferencing capabilities (camera and headset)

Preferred

Strong customer service concepts, practices, and procedures related to desktop support
Ability to independently plan and execute desktop support work with minimal supervision
