Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of HVAC and plumbing system design for complex commercial and institutional projects
Develop conceptual and detailed design solutions that meet performance, cost, and sustainability goals
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and project management teams from concept through construction
Mentor junior engineers and designers, reviewing calculations, drawings, and specifications
Conduct site visits and provide engineering support during construction
Ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and project budgets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
7+ years of mechanical/HVAC design experience with a consulting engineering firm or MEP contractor
Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC design software (e.g., Trane TRACE 700 or newer)
Deep understanding of building mechanical systems, design standards, and construction methods
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 25%
Preferred
P.E. license preferred
