Responsibilities
Perform professional accounting work of minimal to average difficulty in the establishment and maintenance of the accounting and financial records for the Revenue Section
Make considerable contact with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) program areas, including, Cashier Section, and control agencies, such as State Controller's Office (SCO), the State Treasurer's Office (STD), and Department of Finance (DOF)
Qualification
Required
Position requires employees to be fingerprinted and successfully pass a background investigation
Education: For classifications where the Minimum Qualifications (MQs) are based on meeting education requirements only: If education is required to meet the MQs please attach a copy of all of your transcripts that show the completion of the required education
Applicants who completed their education outside the United States (with foreign degrees/transcripts) must obtain and submit verification of United States course/degree equivalency by the time of appointment
In addition to the State application (STD.678), and resume interested candidates must submit Statement of qualification
A complete application is required in order to be considered as a qualified candidate
All relevant work experience, skill sets, education, and professional qualifications must be listed on the Employment Application (STD. 678)
