Responsibilities

Analyze biological or chemical samples for various compounds in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
Compile and report results to management
Organize, conduct, and evaluate analytical testing and results
Maintain study documentation and laboratory records
Set up, operate, and maintain general laboratory equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
Perform quality control reviews of data
Communicate deviations or issues that may affect data integrity to the Study Director, Principal Investigator, or management, and participate in corrective actions
Assist with method development and validation for various analytes across multiple matrices
Perform complex analyses using new or unfamiliar methods, seeking scientific guidance when needed
Recommend improvements to test methods or procedures
Participate in project meetings, contributing to planning, monitoring, and guiding project work
Support client visits and help communicate technical information
Participate in process improvement initiatives
Assist in evaluating data for inclusion in written reports

Required

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Chemistry or a related scientific field required
1–2 years of analytical chemistry experience
Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment (balances, pipettes, centrifuges)
Experience operating and troubleshooting analytical instrumentation
Ability to design and independently conduct tests and perform initial data analysis

Preferred

Prior Mass Spectrometry experience is preferred but not required
Strong preference for candidates with LC‑MS experience; however, applicants with 1+ years of hands on of HPLC experience will also be considered
