Responsibilities
Summarize findings for logical presentation and work with business contacts to develop effective product and process solutions
Developing and Maintaining the database of past claims to support the actuarial processes of determining premium rates for health insurance products
Analyze large amounts of complex data for drivers of business and/or industry trends
Ensure that any ad hoc data requests are done in an accurate and timely manner and presented in a clear, organized fashion
Qualification
Required
Experience in data retrieval from relational databases utilizing SQL and/or SAS (alternatively, Python)
Curiosity and attention to detail
Excitement around (and experience with) leveraging AI tech & tools
Bachelors Degree in a quantitative/ research discipline
5 years - Reporting, data analysis, or similar experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Capacity to solve problems and manage multiple assignments with critical deadlines
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Customer service oriented
Ability to meet schedule deadlines and departmental goals
Must possess ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and other external partners
