Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise-level web and server side applications using Java and JavaScript technologies
Collaborate closely with Lead Engineers, product teams, and cross functional partners to gather requirements and support ongoing sustaining engineering initiatives
Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback to elevate code quality and team performance
Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure timely, high quality project execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
4 plus years of hands-on software development experience
Preferred
Experience with Linux and shell scripting
Strong experience with Java and server‑side development
Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or jQuery
Knowledge of database technologies including PostgreSQL and SQL
Experience with version control tools such as Git and SVN
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
Experience with modern front-end frameworks
Understanding of HTTP and RESTful services
Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
Basic understanding of Tomcat and Apache servers
Ability to write and interpret native SQL queries
Python skills (plus) with exposure to frameworks like CherryPy or Twisted
