Responsibilities

Prepare client invoices and apply payments accurately and on time
Reconcile AR & AP activity and investigate discrepancies
Manage high-volume AP/AR correspondence across multiple clients
Troubleshoot issues, propose process improvements, and support system enhancements
Handle data entry and assist with monthly workflows
Respond to client and vendor inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally
Support ad hoc accounting tasks, reporting, and project work as needed

Required

Associate degree in Accounting (or relevant experience); Bachelor's a plus
1–3 years of experience in accounting, AR/AP, or bookkeeping roles (startup or multi-client experience preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills — this role is client-facing
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience with QBO, Xero, and/or BILL; familiarity with modern finance tools such as Ramp, Brex, or Expensify is a plus
Proficiency in Google Sheets/Docs and Microsoft Excel
A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for learning new tools and taking on new challenges

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Startup or multi-client experience
Familiarity with modern finance tools such as Ramp, Brex, or Expensify
