Responsibilities
Coordinate with Operations, Production Managers, and Quality teams on Continuous Improvement activities
Engineer, requisition, or manufacture materials/parts for process, equipment, or tooling enhancements
Maintain accurate plant layouts in AutoCAD and documentation in QMS/databases
Lead APQP process as project manager for new part numbers, tool builds, and production releases
Manage customer prints, specs, and cross-reference databases; support RoHS, MSPCA, Conflict Minerals compliance
Drive plant-wide LEAN/6 Sigma initiatives across departments
Ensure ERP data accuracy (e.g., Min/Max, efficiencies) and develop costing standards
Backup manufacturing cost quotes/proposals and lead CI/RFQ committees
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent (2+ years related education); prefer Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
Proficiency in reading technical docs, writing reports/procedures, and presenting to stakeholders
Strong math skills (statistics, geometry, ratios) for practical applications
Independent problem-solving with data analysis and technical interpretation
PC expertise (Windows, Access, Word, Excel); ability to complete all position training
Preferred
Experience with EPICOR ERP, AutoCAD, APQP, and LEAN/6 Sigma
