Responsibilities
Perform product design, development, and testing activities
Evaluate design quality and reliability to ensure customer satisfaction
Prepare and review product documentation and manufacturing procedures
Participate in design reviews, technical presentations, and training documentation
Communicate with internal departments, customers, and vendors regarding product development
Design and test product packaging and sampling systems
Apply knowledge of materials, stress analysis, heat transfer, and thermal design to product development
Ensure designs meet manufacturability, safety, and compliance standards
Conduct product verification and validation testing
Travel Required: up to 25% internationally and domestically
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
3–5 years of experience in mechanical design of process analytical instruments
Must possess Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration/licensure
Proficiency in SolidWorks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in CAD tools and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
Ethical, action-oriented, and customer-focused mindset
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
Possesses an active P.E. license in the state of Oklahoma
Experience with design for manufacturability and industry-standard practices (sheet metal, castings, plastics, etc.)
Familiarity with product safety and compliance standards
Knowledge of API and ISO specifications related to oil, gas, and geothermal instrumentation
