They are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee multiple non-legal departments and guide the firm during a period of growth, ensuring effective project management and collaboration with other leaders.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple departments, including: intake, records, facilities, office support, library services, and administrative support
Collaborate closely with the Director of Human Resources, General Counsel, and our Executive Committee, while reporting to the COO/CFO
Synthesize strategic direction from firm leadership and translate that into clear and purposeful action among the teams you oversee

Required

Bachelor's degree required
8+ years of relevant Operations experience required
Experience leading robust, cross-functional teams required

People leadership, supervision, and delegation
Critical thinking and strategic decision-making
Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
Familiarity with online legal research software such as Westlaw or Lexis

Preferred

Law firm or other professional service firm experience preferred
Records management experience strongly preferred
Experience with document management systems (DMS), such as NetDocuments, preferred
