Responsibilities
Configure and enhance our data governance platform to manage data sets, dashboards, and glossary terms
Develop and maintain business glossaries and critical data elements, supporting data accessibility and integrity
Implement ownership and certification processes to fortify data stewardship
Facilitate automated metadata ingestion and verify data lineage across platforms
Conduct sessions and workshops for stakeholders to encourage data governance adoption
Add data quality context to governed assets, partnering with data quality teams for ongoing improvement
Leverage APIs and scripting to automate metadata enrichment and connect with downstream systems
Qualification
Required
3-5 years in data governance, analytics enablement, or data operations
Experienced with data governance platforms like Atlan
Solid understanding of modern data stacks and cloud data warehouses
Collaborative team player, engaging both business and technical teams
Preferred
Knowledge of data quality, privacy, and regulatory concepts
Familiar with SQL, Python, and metadata automation techniques
Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks
