Senior LevelAmtex Systems Inc is seeking a Data Architect to lead data architecture initiatives for Whataburger on a major app rewrite. The role involves collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with standards and governance best practices.

Responsibilities
Serve as the Data Architecture lead representing Whataburger on a major app rewrite initiative
Partner closely with the selected vendor to review, influence, and validate architectural designs
Ensure data solutions align with Whataburger’s standards, branding, and long-term architecture vision
Drive and enforce data governance best practices, including data quality, lineage, and consistency
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements
Support design decisions related to scalability, performance, and maintainability
Qualification
Required
Strong experience as a Data Architect on enterprise-scale initiatives
Hands-on expertise with: Snowflake
Hands-on expertise with: Informatica
Solid background in data governance and best practices
Experience partnering with external vendors while representing internal architectural interests
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility project environment
Prior experience supporting consumer-facing applications or large digital platforms
Ability to work onsite in Texas as needed (local Texas candidates strongly preferred)
