Responsibilities
Applies architectural principles, theories, concepts, methods, and techniques in the planning, design, construction, and/or inspection of buildings
Periodically reviews codes, regulations, and standards to keep abreast of changes
Ensures compliance with required building safety, ADA accessibility, and energy codes as established by regulatory authorities
Monitors and initiates general correspondence and coordinates the implementation of required changes for assigned projects
Consults with design professionals as necessary to modify plans for assigned projects
Reviews and analyzes construction plans to determine compliance with applicable safety, ADA accessibility, and energy codes
Qualification
Required
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice architecture
