Responsibilities
Lead the sampling of new and existing molds, ensuring quality and efficiency
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of Process Technicians
Diagnose molding and process issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions
Collaborate on process improvements and research new methods to enhance production
Establish and maintain quality control specifications for new molds
Interface with customers during new product sampling and address process or quality concerns
Maintain and review production documentation, cycle sheets, and sample tickets
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in plastic injection molding methods, processes, and troubleshooting
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently
Excellent communicator, able to convey technical information clearly in English, verbally and in writing
Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic production environment
Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and production monitoring software
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and move throughout the plant for extended periods
