Responsibilities
Assist underwriters and brokers with daily administrative and operational tasks
Review and process submissions, applications, and supporting documentation
Enter and maintain accurate client and policy information in internal systems
Prepare quotes, binders, policy documents, and renewal materials
Communicate with carriers and clients to obtain missing information and resolve inquiries
Track policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
Ensure compliance with company and regulatory underwriting guidelines
Support the team in reporting, data analysis, and documentation management
Qualification
Required
Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
1–3 years of experience in insurance, underwriting, or brokerage support preferred
Experience with brokerage management systems (e.g., EPIC, Applied, TAM) an asset
