Responsibilities
Provide executive oversight and strategic leadership across complex healthcare consulting portfolios, ensuring delivery aligns with client goals, contractual commitments, and regulatory standards
Serve as Engagement Executive or Strategic Advisor to client leadership, translating enterprise challenges into actionable, outcome-driven plans
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions that improve operations, drive transformation, and support long-term client success
Resolve cross-cutting issues, ensure alignment across stakeholders, and maintain visibility into portfolio performance, risks, and mitigation strategies
Guide organizational change efforts to support technology adoption and operational sustainability
Oversee assessment, design, and implementation of scalable solutions
Ensure delivery of scalable, measurable solutions through strategic work planning, quality assurance, and measuring results
Champion innovation and process improvement by introducing best practices, methodologies, and emerging technologies that support healthcare transformation
Identify systemic risks across the consulting portfolio and lead resolution efforts in partnership with client and internal leadership
Serve as the executive escalation point for critical delivery issues, ensuring swift resolution and sustaining client relationships
Maintain oversight of compliance with healthcare regulations, cybersecurity standards, and organizational governance requirements
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client executives, guiding long-term strategy and fostering client ownership of delivered solutions
Establish frameworks for knowledge transfer, capability building, and system adoption success post-engagement
Align consulting delivery with Tegria’s strategic objectives and service line goals; contribute to operational strategy, capability development, and cross-functional coordination
Provide market intelligence and client feedback to inform service innovation, strategic investments, and continuous improvement initiatives
Perform formal people-management duties. Administer and document personnel actions including performance evaluations, coaching, discipline, pay changes, and promotions in accordance with Tegria policies and procedures
Lead and develop high-performing teams; oversee performance, engagement, and succession planning
Promote a culture of excellence, accountability and respect
Serve as an executive mentor to rising leaders and subject matter experts
Manage the P&L of projects, including scoping, pricing, statements of work, costs, payment and risk terms, budget, tracking, forecasting, and management
Oversee the strategic direction of your service line or practice line
Oversee utilization and allocation of budgets and resources
Assist executives and senior managing directors in defining organizational goals and strategic plans
Develop guidelines, processes, and procedures to accomplish objectives and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Lead strategic pursuits, proposals, and account expansions
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and solution leaders to position offerings, shape go-to-market strategies, and secure new business
Represent Tegria at industry events, client executive forums, and thought leadership opportunities
Perform other duties as assigned in support of Tegria’s mission and growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Actively pursuing or maintaining relevant certifications
Has extensive related experience in healthcare consulting or technology leadership experience, including: Engagement-executive oversight of multi-million dollar engagements or programs, Strategic leadership across multiple client portfolios and service lines, Client relationship management and negotiation, People management, including coaching, performance evaluation, and staffing, Budget ownership and P&L accountability, Strategic planning and solution design, Business development and proposal development, Mentorship and professional development of consulting staff
Expert knowledge of the organization and functional area(s)
Expert knowledge of healthcare operations, systems, or digital transformation
Expert knowledge of business operations and strategy, particularly within the healthcare sector, understanding market trends and client needs
Insight into key business drivers and dynamics
Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations, interoperability standards, and industry frameworks
In-depth understanding of consulting methodologies and project management approaches (Agile, Scrum, PMBOK)
Operational understanding of employment laws relevant to people leadership
Constantly monitors industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure Tegria remains a leader
Broad knowledge of the healthcare IT consulting industry
Have reliable internet access and sufficient speed to perform the job satisfactorily
Able to negotiate with multiple levels of stakeholders to influence decisions impacting client success and Tegria success
Represents Tegria effectively in all internal and external interactions
Provide engagement-executive presence and leadership across multiple, concurrent workstreams
Align initiatives with business and strategic goals through systems thinking and prioritization
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, project management tools and collaboration platforms
Demonstrate sound judgment, resilience, and agility in ambiguous or high-pressure environments
Apply advanced critical thinking and analytical skills to solve complex client problems
Collaborate across departments and disciplines, influencing outcomes without direct authority
Communicate effectively across diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-suite executives
