Mid LevelHaarslev is looking for an Area Sales Manager to build out their sales and marketing strategy for a defined customer base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing market presence, maximizing sales, and analyzing the assigned territory while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
Optimize Haarslev’s presence in the market
Maximize sales to the customer industry base in the territory
Analyze the potential for the assigned area/territory
Ability to establish, execute and meet a sales budget for the area
Managing and maintaining CRM tool for opportunities, status, and follow-up as it relates to customers for the team
Collect and analyze competitive pressures and develop strategies to win
Build sales strategies for the territory or accounts of responsibility
Qualification
Required
Capital Equipment sales experience and a track record of performance in sales are required
Strong technical aptitude is required with the ability and desire to learn and understand advanced animal protein processing equipment
Ability to dissect and identify customer needs and find a way to fill the need
Self-motivated, energetic, and positive individual with the ability and commitment to develop strong relationships
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You have a demeanor and appearance conveying uncompromising professionalism
You are a focused, results-driven, and goal-oriented person
You have the ability to analyze the account base and develop an approach and sales strategy
The ability to travel extensively. 75% travel with a significant amount of travel including overnight stays away from home
Have the ability to work in production facilities as well as corporate environments
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Proven track record in technical sales
Previous industry experience
Preferred
Animal protein processing experience and industry experience are preferred
A technical background or engineering background is preferred but not required
