Senior Director, Integrated Strategy and Research

The Senior Director of Integrated Strategy & Research will define and drive the strategic foundation for Sunny’s Marketing & Experience Team, leading the design and activation of integrated marketing strategies to enhance consumer engagement.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing and engagement strategies across key client and internal initiatives
Translate business objectives and consumer insights into actionable frameworks that connect message, audience, channel, and technology
Develop strategic roadmaps, briefs, and presentations that influence creative, MarTech, and operational teams
Serve as a thought leader on consumer engagement, campaign measurement, and integrated marketing best practices
Continuously evolve Sunny’s marketing strategy toolkit, including journey mapping, segmentation, and campaign playbooks, to ensure scalability and performance
Direct research and data-driven insight efforts across markets, segments, and audiences to inform strategic decision-making
Partner with analytics and MarTech teams to establish and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and measurement frameworks that evaluate campaign performance and audience behavior
Build and maintain a dynamic knowledge base of market trends, competitive intelligence, and audience profiles to inform future strategy
Use testing, experimentation, and performance analytics to evaluate outcomes and guide optimization strategies
Translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive engagement, retention, and measurable impact
Partner closely with Brand, Creative & Content (BCC), Experience Operations (XO), and Integrated Program Management (IPM) to align on goals, metrics, and execution
Ensure strategic clarity and consistency across functions by defining common frameworks, templates, and best practices
Serve as a strategic advisor and coach to cross-functional stakeholders, promoting collaboration and data-driven decision-making
Contribute to client presentations, executive updates, and thought-leadership materials that communicate progress, impact, and vision
Foster a culture of continuous learning, transparency, and accountability within the Marketing & Experience Team
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive experience in marketing strategy, management consulting, or integrated planning
Deep expertise in consumer marketing, audience segmentation, and omni-channel engagement, with an ability to translate insights into scalable activation strategies
Proven success building and leading strategy functions within high-growth, fast-paced, or agency environments
Strong analytical and storytelling skills—equally comfortable interpreting data models and shaping creative narratives that drive measurable results
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence engaging directly with executives, clients, and cross-functional partners
Familiarity with modern MarTech and analytics ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Braze, Tableau, Amplitude) and how technology informs strategy
Bachelor's degree required
