Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and integrate network solutions to support post-acquisition environments across LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, cloud networking, and SD-WAN or MPLS architectures
Resolve IP addressing conflicts and drive convergence of acquired networks into established enterprise standards
Install, configure, and support network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, proxy servers, and wireless access points
Build detailed Bills of Materials to support network design and implementation efforts
Monitor network performance, analyze data, and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues and outages
Plan, schedule, and execute network upgrades and patches to maximize availability and reliability
Support network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access management in alignment with security standards
Create and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
Collaborate with security, systems, and application teams to support integration projects and ensure business continuity
Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
Perform capacity planning to ensure scalability and support ongoing organizational growth
Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams during integration activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
12+ years of overall relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting enterprise network environments
Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise networks
Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, and IPsec
Experience working with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto
Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds
Working knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies
Ability to strictly adhere to established network design and configuration standards
Experience working independently in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
US citizenship is required
Preferred
Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification
Cloud security or infrastructure certifications such as CCSK or AWS
Experience supporting network integration efforts during mergers or acquisitions
Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python or Bash
