Human Resources Specialist South Coast Winery Resort & Spa

SERVPRO of Saginaw / Bay City is seeking a detail-oriented and service-minded Human Resources Specialist to support their growing resort operations. This role involves performing a variety of technical and administrative HR functions with a strong emphasis on payroll administration, employee records, and compliance, ensuring an exceptional employee experience across both properties.

Real Estate

Responsibilities

Process and maintain accurate payroll data for hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees
Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing, including audits and reconciliation
Enter and maintain employee information such as rate changes, transfers, deductions, bonuses, and leave
Ensure accurate processing of payroll deductions, benefits, reimbursements, and allowances
Prepare and process final pay documentation and pay cards for terminations
Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager payroll-related inquiries
Resolve payroll discrepancies in coordination with the corporate payroll team
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in ADP Workforce Now
Process time-off requests and ensure proper documentation is collected
Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
Assist with HR audits and compliance documentation
Support HR initiatives and projects as assigned
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Required

Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
1–2 years of Human Resources or payroll experience required
Working knowledge of HR laws and payroll regulations
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
High level of integrity and discretion

Preferred

Previous hotel or resort HR experience strongly preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
