Responsibilities
Support commissioning agents, analytics providers, and engineering teams in required testing and startup tasks
Witness and review contractor tests
Review of vendor documents, drawings and submittals
Quality inspections of controls hardware installations
Support impairment and startup activities related to the BAS/BMS during construction, shutdowns, and project execution
Assist in the balancing effort as needed
Provide system tuning and program improvements after system turnover to client
Assist and provide support during Sequence of Operations testing
Diagnose and resolve BAS/BMS and HVAC controls issues through remote and onsite response
Respond to operational disruptions, alarms, and comfort-related conditions
Provide support for facilities led maintenance activities or repairs
Monitor vendor performance for adherence to client requirements
Participate in operational and coordination meetings as requested
Provide timely updates and service reporting
Provide routine controls support to maintain consistent environmental conditions and reliable facility operation
Effectively works with cross departmental stakeholders, PMO, EH&S, Global Security, and Project CQV
Ensure that all project activities align with the current client SOPs and global standards
Create right-the-first time culture for installation activities. Ensure the Global Engineering reputation and partnership is flourished with the cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Demonstrates functional/technical proficiency, engages in effective operational and strategic planning
Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys System
Experience with new construction and Facility turnover to operations
Receptive to change – Adapts (quickly) to changing circumstances
B.A, B.S. in Engineering or related discipline with 2-5 years of project experience
Understanding and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field, GMP, ISO, GAMP, ANSI
