Responsibilities
Interview, hire, train, and supervise AR staff, monitoring productivity and providing coaching and performance feedback
Oversee time and attendance, productivity scorecards, workflow backfills, and adherence to performance standards
Identify, document, and analyze denial trends to improve processes and reduce future denials
Maintain and distribute aging reports; ensure timely follow-up and accurate cash posting
Develop and implement workflow policies to increase efficiency and compliance
Serve as first-line escalation for AR collectors to resolve complex issues and payer disputes
Prepare reports and analyses to support leadership decision-making
Qualification
Required
5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or AR experience
2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
Strong understanding of payer rules, denials, and billing workflows
Proficiency with AR systems and Excel
