Support departmental goals and objectives
Test incoming raw materials and finished goods
Conduct tests on in-process materials from compounding department
Inspect and test purchased chemicals
Inspect return goods as required
Maintain good housekeeping practices in work areas
Special projects, as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in a chemical laboratory
Strong computer skills including MS Office, SAP, etc
Basic understanding of chemical processing
Proficient with laboratory and measuring & test equipment
Basic understanding of departmental procedures and work instructions, etc
