Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and validation tools
Analyze system test data to identify anomalies, trends, and potential issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and verify avionics systems
Support systems engineering activities including requirements verification, modeling, and analyses
Document verification processes and software

Required

Minimum of a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or a similar technical/ engineering field
Proficiency in Python, specifically for automation, testing, and data analysis
Experience with software testing methodologies and best practices
Conceptual understanding of Systems Engineering and Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
Self-directed with ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion, follow growth mindset, and practice psychological safety

Preferred

Experience developing tests using automation frameworks (pytest, unittest, etc.)
Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environments
Experience with data analysis tools like Databricks, Tableau, Jupyter, etc
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements
Exposure to avionics, embedded systems, or other safety-critical domains
Experience with Agile development practices
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, DOORS/DNG, or MATLAB/Simulink
Project Management and/or Technical Leadership skills
Understanding of verification processes for certified industries
Systems engineering experience in requirements capture, tracing, and verification planning
Safety analyses experience such as those described in DO 178, ARP4761, NUREG-0492, NASA AFTH (Functional Hazard Analyses (FHA), Fault Tree Analyses (FTAs))
Knowledge of several of the following avionics specialties: Instrumentation, RF, Ethernet networking, circuit design, safety critical software, wire harnesses, test equipment, environmental/DO-160 testing
