Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN architectures across on-premises data centers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
Architect and support hybrid cloud connectivity using AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, OCI FastConnect, and VPN technologies
Configure and optimize routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, and VXLAN
Implement and manage next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Check Point, Cisco ASA), including Panorama and Prisma Access
Design secure network segmentation using VLANs, VRFs, VXLAN, ACLs, and Zero Trust principles
Support high-availability and disaster recovery architectures, including load balancers (F5, Citrix ADC, AWS ELB, Azure Load Balancer)
Automate network provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and CloudFormation
Integrate network telemetry with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, SolarWinds, PRTG, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)
Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, ISO 27001, GLBA, and other regulatory frameworks
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network incidents and performance issues
Produce and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering
Strong hands-on expertise with routing & switching technologies
Deep experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and cloud firewall services
Proven experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures
Strong understanding of network security, Zero Trust, and segmentation
Experience working in regulated environments (financial services, healthcare, insurance, etc.)
Proficiency with network automation and infrastructure-as-code
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty
Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, and Transit Gateway architectures
Exposure to SIEM integration and security monitoring workflows
