Responsibilities
Manage Model year intro approval process for US accessory vehicle sales. Analyst will work with cross functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategy and implementation for accessory vehicle sales in the United States
Support business case reviews and toolset to provide data / tools / and insights to business partners in the development of future content business cases
Support the pricing implementation for both part level and vehicle level sales offerings
Responsible driving increased revenue for GM through market based pricing strategies / actions and internal process improvement initiatives
Work with vehicle pricing analysts to align pricing actions both at the start of a model year and for in-cycle changes
Use data analysis to support requests from cross functional partners gain insights and knowledge, allowing them to drive positive business results
Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures- Maintain outstanding relationships with business partners
Lead by example displaying GM behaviors, commitment to personal development and dedication to crafting a positive Workplace of Choice culture
Provides understanding of the bigger picture and how projects relate to operational strategy / Enterprise goals- Anticipate partner needs (proactive vs. reactive)
Continuously seek process improvements and automation opportunities to reduce manual work, enhance efficiency, and drive innovative solutions across pricing and analytics workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of financial or related experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Financial modeling and valuation skills
Familiarity with ROI, NPV, and other financial tools
Knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance concepts (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow analysis)
Experience with Hyperion, SAP, and other financial systems
Preferred
Ability to develop and utilize financial modeling techniques to evaluate risks and opportunities
Solve complex, non-standard problems using advanced analytical methods
Identify and correct inconsistent data; understand root causes and drivers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable presenting to senior management and influencing decisions
Ability to storytell and distill complex scenarios into actionable insights
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may mentor junior staff
Works independently with minimal guidance
Demonstrates learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability
Builds trust and networks across teams and functions
Owns development and delivery of solutions, driving cross-team efforts
