Responsibilities
Carry out high-level and early-stage proof-of-concept research to explore and validate new product ideas
Contribute to a multidisciplinary team that is dedicated to developing innovative, world-class products for the NGS market
Conduct regular project progress reviews to communicate key findings, conclusions and implications to the project team
Collaborate closely with molecular biology and bioinformatics groups to evaluate and identify potential parameters that may impact sequencing performance
Keep detailed records of all experiments and project-related information
Qualification
Required
Must have attained a Master's Degree
Required majors: Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields
Good understanding of NGS library preparation, targeted enrichment, and sequencing
Ability to work well in teams and across disciplines
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The candidate should be passionate and self-motivated with a strong desire to acquire on-the-job training
Hands-on experience working in a laboratory environment
