2+ years expTalent Bridge is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support plant operations. This role focuses on maintaining equipment in a state of readiness and performing preventative and emergency repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant machinery.

Responsibilities
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance following manufacturer recommendations and company procedures
Inspect plant equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments, reporting findings to the Supervisor
Perform emergency repairs to address plant breakdowns
Maintain crushers, conveyor belts, pulleys, pumps, screens, and screen bearings
Conduct job safety analyses before undertaking any repair or diagnostic tasks (lock-out/tag-out, working at heights, confined spaces)
Walk the plant regularly to inspect mechanical equipment and systems for repair or replacement needs
Maintain an inventory of regularly required replacement parts
Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of mechanical repair, installation, or construction experience in heavy industry
Working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and general plant maintenance
Hands-on experience with welding, cutting torch, and hand tools
Proficient in hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Ability to work overtime and handle physically demanding tasks
Basic computer skills
Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved PPE, including respirators where required
Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven at the seal point to pass fit tests
Preferred
Experience operating skid steers or man lifts is a plus
Welding/fabrication skills highly desirable
