Electrical Test Engineer

Eaton’s Power Components Division is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to support electrical testing operations at their Beaver, PA facility. This role is critical to product development and certification efforts, ensuring safe and accurate execution of electrical tests while maintaining lab equipment.

Responsibilities

Conduct electrical testing per UL, CSA, IEC, and NEMA standards
Ensure compliance with Eaton’s safety policies and electrical safety regulations
Set up and verify complex test configurations
Coordinate lab scheduling, technician tasks, and equipment calibrations
Maintain and organize test samples and documentation
Prepare and process detailed test reports
Support lab upgrades, repairs, and 5S activities
Manage multiple projects to meet critical deadlines

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
Previous technical experience, including internship/co-op in a professional environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an electrical test lab
Experience using a computer for detailed test documentation and analysis
Experience with power systems component operation such as circuit breakers, motors, transformers, panelboards, PLCs, HMIs, solid state components
Experience with measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and megger equipment
