Project Manager I - Operations

Responsibilities
Assist with managing and tracking all logistics support services requests and reports dealing with the progress toward the completion of the project(s) to include moving services, conference room set-ups, etc
Assist with managing each employee’s documentation and compensation as follows: assigning work hours; approving, tracking, and submitting leave requests; completing timesheets; posting legal notices and comply with U.S Department of Labor wage and hour requirements of assigned employees
Provide management back-up support to the Project Manager II – Operations position
Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Oversee production assignments and activities to ensure quality control and fulfillment of contractual obligations at the site
Supervise assigned staff to ensure their duties and responsibilities are completed. Hire, train, and evaluate assigned staff and perform the duties as assigned. May resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems
Implement project management proficiencies by creating schedules, deliverables, and identifying new available resources
Complete in an accurate and timely manner, all evaluation/assessment reports, progress reports, case notes, incident reports, attendance, and other supporting documentation
Serve as a liaison between the customer and supplier for product sourcing
Market ServiceSource service to contract representatives and other interested parties
Provide a high standard of customer service to the contract. Ensure that assigned personnel also are trained in customer service methods
Accurately complete records and reports in a timely manner as required by operations, rehabilitation, and human resources departments as well as the contractor
Interface with contract personnel on all routine matters pertinent to contractual obligations
Interface with customers on a regular basis to solve issues that arise
Assist rehabilitation team in assigning employees to appropriate jobs and implement rehabilitation plans of assigned employees
Implement and adhere to all fire and safety, bomb threat and security protocol regulations within assigned area
Responsible for site orientation and training of all new personnel assigned to the contract. Ensure that staff are given the opportunity to complete their training requirements
Monitor the routine maintenance of equipment and supplies
Oversee supply orders, purchases, and inventories for ServiceSource, or contractor if required
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
Five (5) years management experience required
Must be able to work well with people internally and externally at all levels of the organization
Must have good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office with demonstrated ability to operate a computer using designated accountable mail software and Office software
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Detail-oriented and able to carry out work with the highest levels of accuracy
Knowledge of practices and procedures related to Federal government activities
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Good reading and writing skills
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred one-year experience in related field
