HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER (AUSTIN, TEXAS)

TouchPoint Support Services is a part of Compass Healthcare, dedicated to providing hospitality for patients and families in hospitals across the U.S. They are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support operational leadership and enhance employee engagement across 13 hospitals in the Austin/Waco, Texas market.

Responsibilities

Provide HR leadership and operational support across 13 Texas‑based hospitals, traveling between sites as needed to meet business demands
Serve as primary HR contact for associate relations matters; conduct investigations, coach leaders, and guide resolution steps
Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with TouchPoint values
Lead engagement initiatives, communication strategies, recognition programs, and retention efforts
Partner with hiring managers across all hospitals to forecast staffing needs and support recruitment strategies
Ensure efficient onboarding, new-hire orientation, and compliance with hiring requirements
Monitor turnover, staffing trends, and workforce analytics across the Texas market
Train leaders on HR processes, policy interpretation, performance management, progressive discipline, and documentation
Conduct frontline orientation in the Texas market on a bi-monthly basis
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as individual hospital policies
Maintain accurate HRIS data, personnel files, and reporting
Collaborate with operational leaders to align HR strategies with facility and regional goals

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5+ years of HR generalist or HR manager experience; multi‑site or healthcare experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and workforce compliance
Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
